Crossover Design: Private Home – Office Environment

Working hours and office environments are becoming increasingly flexible. Laptops accompany users most of the time and allow them to set up a mobile office anywhere and anytime. At home, people like to access the internet or individual digital data from anywhere in the home, but especially while sitting on the sofa or resting in bed. This routine is also common in semi-private spaces such as hotel rooms. A corresponding set-up is required. The moderate size of CLERK is designed to create such comfort zones that allow relaxed office work and online activities.

Beate Woehrle observes the world around her with an artist’s eye. Her designs reflect her very own response, which is characterised by a strong appreciation for beautiful details. She consistently works with great attention to detail, creating sincere design in a variety of materials including ceramics, wood, textiles and paper.
